Contains photographs of the following military organization: Carlisle Indian Industrial School. General description of the collection: The Lila H. Connolly photograph collection is a small collection which belonged to Miss Lila Hall Connolly, who was Richard H. Pratt's secretary at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School. Many of these photos are duplicates of photos in the much larger Carlisle Indian Industrial School collection. A few that are not duplicates are of Miss Connolly's Sunday School class members. There are photos of Mr. Pratt, football players, other students, and buildings. Also included are a number of postcards some unrelated to the Carlisle Indian School, but related to native Americans.

The Carlisle Indian Industrial School was the brainchild of a young lieutenant of the 10th United States (U.S.) Cavalry, Richard Henry Pratt.
